and procedures related to HIPAA and JCAHO confidentiality standards in addition
to the following:
E.M. Transcriptions, Inc. does not at any time subcontract work.
All employees of E.M. Transcriptions, Inc. are U.S. citizens and bound by a
confidentiality agreement that if breached results in immediate termination of
employment as well as legal action.
E.M. Transcriptions, Inc. holds employee meetings periodically to specifically
address patient confidentiality and transcript security issues.
Electronic files transmitted between E.M. Transcriptions, Inc. and its
employees are password protected at all times and immediately deleted after
transmission. No files are kept on employee computer hard drives.
E.M. Transcriptions, Inc. utilizes only secure methods for transfer of
electronic files. Files are never transferred via unsecured Internet file
transfers or email.
Hard copy transcripts are delivered only by couriers employed by E.M.
Transcriptions, Inc.
